Ari

Peregrine’s Winter Is Coming

 

Ari is a very enthusiastic dog – about everything! He has taught me a lot about patience, channeling drive for the right purpose and working with a high arousal dog who stresses. He’s extremely smart and does enjoy trying new sports. Ari’s favourite sport is Disc Dog but he also enjoys Agility and Tracking. We recently tried out Barn Hunt as a local club on the island is starting to offer practices and events – Ari just adores this sport!  His favourite past time is following scent in the forest on hikes. He has an amazing instincts as a bird dog and the desire to please.

Achievements:

• Canine Good Neighbour certificate
• Agility – moved up to Advanced Gamblers after his first two runs in Starters
• Disc Dog – competed in 2015 & 2016 with Up Dog Challenge. Has competed in UFO as well.
• Barn Hunt Association – RATI title for instinct and 2 legs towards his Novice title at his first event

Future plans for Ari include Disc Dog and Barn Hunt. It’s really fun to train a dog in sports that he really loves and excels in.
